Recently Azure Nurseries radically changed its growing operations. Previously concentrating its production to supply garden centre chains, we now have moved the majority of production over to growing hardy nursery stock for the landscape industry. This means that we have fewer transport, heating costs and waste and can therefore pass the savings onto our Trade customers.

A formidable partnership was formed in April 2003 with J. A. Jones, to offer unpresitented supply to Landcapers in the North East.

J. A. Jones is a leading UK wholesale nursery specialising in field grown trees ranging in sizes up to & including semi-matures, and container grown shrubs from 1 litre pots to specimen. Established in 1900, the nursery consists of five sites all in close proximity to each other, covering a total area of 128 acres.

It made perfect sense, therefore, for Azure to set up a partnership arrangement whereby Azure’s 2.5 acre Cash & Carry site is stocked from production sites covering 128 acres, supported with weekly top-up visits.

Azure Rolawn Cash and Carry has merged its stock with our Garden Centre. This allows trade customers a greater selection of quality plants at trade prices. Rolawn Turf can be also purchased from the same site office.

Opening Hours

We are open from Monday to Thursday 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (4.00pm Friday) and Saturday/Sunday by appointment only. Visa & Mastercard are both accepted methods of payment as well as cash, or account (subject to status).
