Fish Care and Accessories

Our tips on buying fish.

• Make a list in advance of what fish you would like, and do some research about the fish you want to buy. If not just ask one of the staff, we're always on hand.
• Make sure you tank is ready for fish. It will need maturing before you add anything. This requires at least & days, so please be patient, it will be worth it.
• Buy 2 or 3 small fish at first - ask for recommendations and leave it for a week or so.
• Don't forget when first purchasing fish bring a sample of you aquarium water to make sure its ok.
• If your medicating your tank for any reason at all don't be tempted to buy fish until what you d have is thoroughly clear.
• And don’t be alarmed if you are advised against some fish. They maybe incompatible with what you already have or you may not be able to meet the conditions that the fish need. Please remember that if you are refused the seller has the fishes best interests at heart as well as yours.

Aquarium Heaters

Every tropical or marine fish tank requires heating to maintain the optimum temperature for your fish. Aqua one offers glass heaters from 25 watts to 300 watts, as well as stainless steel heaters from 50 watts to 300 watts.

Air Pumps

Oxygen is a vital ingredient to a healthy aquarium. A lack of oxygen will quickly harm the health of your fish. Aqua One offers two different types of air pumps which are both exceptionally quiet and will not disturb your fish.
